WE HAVE A NEW DATE!
Good afternoon, friends!
After weighing all available options with careful and prayerful consideration, we’re rescheduling today’s show for NEXT SATURDAY, JUNE 20.
Skip Reese and Jenny Old-Powell will judge for us. Start time 8:00 A.M. both arenas. Tammy will preside over the Snack Shack as usual, so count on great food choices at reasonable prices!
If you pre-entered for June 13, your entries are saved; you only need to notify us of changes or scratches.
Send NEW pre-entries by 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 17, at www.whippoorwillfarm.net/horse-shows .

Whippoorwill Farm is a hunter/jumper equestrian facility. Celebrating 27 years of operation near Shacklefords, VA, the farm features a 25 stall barn, two outdoor jumping arenas, and just-finished covered arena. Boarding, training, and lessons are offered.

We’ll welcome judges Robin Wood and Jenny Old-Powell, with start time 8:00 A.M. in both arenas. Tammy will have plenty of delicious offerings at the Snack Shack as usual.

GRATEFUL!
That’s how we feel about this past Saturday. Beautiful weather, amazing judges (thank you Zach Parks and Dora Wynne❤️❤️), wonderful exhibitors, great food (thanks Tammy!), staff and volunteers rockin’, trainers and helpers absolutely excelling, friends we hadn’t seen for a couple of years joining us again… we couldn’t be more grateful to all of you who were part of this fantastic show!

Dear friends,
With broken hearts, we sadly must postpone our VHSA Associate Horse Show scheduled for next Saturday, April 18, as the Celebration of Life service for our beloved longtime Whippoorwill family member, Cindy Bohannon, will be on that day.

What. A. Day. WFHSA’s first show of this season was this past Saturday, March 28!
While the wind certainly provided some frustrating challenges, we are overjoyed by the attendance and camaraderie. Thanks to our spectacular judges Old-Powell and Allen; to the Whippoorwill staff and volunteers who gave their all to overcome every obstacle; to Lawson in the Snack Shack whose chili and corn chowder (not to mention the other delicious offerings) warmed bellies and hearts; and most of all to every exhibitor, trainer, parent, and helper, who went above and beyond to display exquisite sportsmanship and friendship.
