Meet Penny 🖤
This 3-month-old Dalmatian started her in-home lessons yesterday, and we didn’t waste any time. Puppyhood is cute, but solid behavior doesn't happen by accident.
Here is what we are building while she is still young and impressionable:
✅️Verbal-Only "Down". No hand signals, no massive body language cues, and no begging. Just a clean response to a verbal command.
✅️Impulse Control & Duration: We are adding time and brainpower to her "Sit." A sit isn't useful if a dog pops out of it the second your hand moves.
✅️Anti-Jumping Boundaries: Setting the expectation now that keeping four paws on the floor is the only way to get attention.
✅️Recall Word Association: Laying the foundational groundwork for a reliable, non-negotiable recall before she hits adolescence and decides she has better things to do.
