Jesse can be a little nervous when faced with something new, but one of the things we love most about him is how he takes it all in stride. Give him a minute to process, and he’s ready to keep moving forward.

Today’s Alaska adventure included a visit to Dallas Seavey’s Alaskan Sled Dog Tours in Talkeetna. We were able to learn all about Dallas (six time Iditarod champion), his dogs and his program. We also got to run a team of dogs. It was an amazing experience.

Dolly update. Kleenex donations welcome as there is not a dry eye in our house.

UPDATE: While Dolly came extremely close to becoming our newest pack member, alas, she has found a new adventure. Dolly will be flying to Alaska later this week to join her former dog walker and house-sitter. We wish them both the best that life can offer. She’s been very special to her family and to us. God’ speed Dolly!

Dolly is five years old and she is spayed. Looking for a quiet country life. Are you out there Mr. Oliver Wendell Douglas?

Crosswood has a puppy available. This rarely happens that they don’t already have a family lined up!

The dog park improvement project is moving along nicely. I installed two sun sails and had one nice fall from a ladder. No broken bones just badly bruised ego.
