Fireworks can be stressful for many dogs :( Here are a few ways to help them feel more comfortable:
🐾 Keep them indoors before fireworks begin.
🐾 Close blinds and curtains to reduce flashing lights.
🐾 Turn on a TV, fan, or white noise machine to help mask outside sounds.
🐾 Create a safe, cozy space where they can retreat if they feel anxious.
🐾 Make sure collars and ID tags are up to date in case a frightened pet slips outside.
🐾 Stay calm and stick to your normal routine as much as possible.

If you'll be spending time at holiday cookouts, parties, or other 4th of July celebrations, don't forget to make arrangements for your pets, too! A quick visit for potty breaks, meals, fresh water, and some extra attention can help make the day easier for everyone 🐾❤️
