This week, $5 Friday has a whole new meaning for us. Five dollars. Five puppies. Five little lives depending on us.

These babies came into our care under heartbreaking circumstances. Their mom, Queen, needed emergency surgery after suffering from dystocia, and unfortunately she wasn’t able to nurse them afterward. We lost one of the six puppies, but these five little fighters are still here, and we’re doing everything we can to keep it that way.

Right now, that means bottle feedings around the clock, formula, an incubator, supplies, constant monitoring, and a whole lot of sleepless nights.

We’ve already taken on thousands of dollars in emergency veterinary care to save Queen and her babies, and now we need our village.

If everyone who sees this gives just $5 today, those small donations can make an enormous difference for them and all the rest of the project dogs.

We told Max how much we owe on the rescue credit card and this was his reaction…ours too really!

We’ve had some emergencies, we’ve had some diagnostics, we’ve had to let some dogs go these last couple of weeks but we are still doing all we can to keep our promise to the remaining project dogs, the best for the rest and their medical expenses covered for life

We’re falling short in the fundraising world and we know it but… life, man!
