🫶Meet AdoptableRiver! 🐾

This young pup somehow has the manners of an old soul! He is so sweet, incredibly well-mannered, and absolutely ADORES kids. 🥹

But don’t let those good manners fool you — River is still a playful, silly pup who is always ready for some fun. He’d love nothing more than to become your new best friend.

And his size? PERFECT. Just the right size to fit comfortably in anyone’s lap for all the cuddles. 🥰

🧬 JEREMY’S DNA RESULTS ARE IN!🧬

🎉And for some even more exciting news: yesterday Jeremy headed to a 3-week board & train!🎉

We want to be really clear — Jeremy is a GREAT dog. This training isn’t because he has any major behavioral issue that needs to be “fixed.” It’s about giving this young guy a break from the shelter environment and teaching him some of the puppy skills he missed out on learning while growing up in the shelter system.

He’s smart, affectionate, playful, eager to please, and has SO love to give. We’re giving him the tools to be the best version of himself. 🥹

But we need one very important thing…A HOME FOR HIM TO COME BACK TO. 🏠

We want Jeremy to finish his training and go straight into a forever home where his person can continue building on everything he’s learned.

Who’s ready to give this great dog his happily ever after? 💙

YESSSS!!! 🥹💙 A long-timer finally got their forever home and now we’re keeping the momentum going.

Blue was ADOPTED! 🎉
A dog who waited far too long is officially HOME.

Now it’s Yankee. Rufus. Ginny. Sheba.
Four more long-timers who deserve their turn.

🙏 LOOKING FOR A FOREVER HOME: BLUE 💙

“The amount of joy our foster, Blue, has brought to our family is hard to describe.”😭

Blue has been lucky enough to be in a foster home for the past month, and his foster family had SO much to say about this sweet boy that we had to share it.

🍪Sweet is the first word that comes to mind.

Blue is such a good boy and loves nothing more than receiving affection. He is wonderful with kids, a great listener, and catches on quickly.

Even when he has plenty of energy, he never gets frantic or hyper. And when bedtime rolls around? He knows the drill. He settles onto his blanket and hits the hay like a pro. 🥹

True to his breed, Blue LOVES watching for small animals like squirrels. He’ll even look up and scan the trees during walks! 😂 But he listens well and responds to direction on leash.

And honestly, we think his foster family said it best: “The amount of joy he brings to our family is hard to describe.” 😭

Blue has been waiting far too long for someone to see what we see in him.

He’s sweet. He’s smart. He’s affectionate. He’s great with kids. He has energy but knows how to settle.

He just needs someone to give him the chance to bring that same joy into their home.

PLEASE COME MEET BLUE. 💙

Because Blue is in a foster home currently we will need to schedule meet & greets.

😭 Sheba sits alone in her kennel for another night 😭

She’s quiet, even when the rescue is filled with barking.

She looks up at me with those hopeful eyes. She comes over for pets. She leans in for attention. And I can’t help but wonder if she thinks maybe tonight is the night someone finally comes for her.

Maybe tonight someone will walk through that door and say, “I’m here for Sheba.”

But today, nobody did. 💔

And Sheba has to wait, again.How much longer does this gentle, sweet, loving girl have to wait?

👏Sheba hits all the marks:
She’s cat friendly.
She’s kid friendly.
She’s quiet.
She’s affectionate.
She’s well mannered.

She just wants to be loved and have a family of her own.

What else do you need to say YES to Sheba? 🙁

She has spent months waiting for someone to simply give her a chance.

🙏Please. Come meet her.

💔 WE’RE GOING TO SOUND LIKE A BROKEN RECORD… BUT WE ARE AT A COMPLETE LOSS.

How can such incredible dogs still be waiting?

How can Yankee, Sheba, Blue, Radar, Ginny, and Rufus have ZERO applications? 😭

Not one. Nobody has shown up for them. 💔

These are dogs who have been waiting for months. Dogs with great personalities, goofy smiles, huge hearts, and SO much love to give. They are not invisible to us. We see them every single day.

And honestly? We’re feeling defeated. We can’t imagine how they must feel.

They watch people come through the doors. They watch other dogs leave. They wait. They hope. And then they go back to their kennels.

So what else can we do? 🙁

Ask. And ask. And ask again. Because there HAS to be someone out there.

There has to be one person who sees Yankee and thinks, “That’s my dog.”

Someone who meets Sheba and realizes she’s exactly what their family has been missing.

Someone who gives Blue, Radar, Ginny, or Rufus the chance they’ve been waiting for.
