We at Sevier County Animal Clinic naturally want to extend our deepest condolences to Dolly Parton’s family and friends we share this county with. It is an honor to care for your family’s pets.
We want to point out that along with Dolly’s music, story telling, and genuine kindness-her philanthropy extended to her love for animals. Proceeds from her Billy the Kid Children’s book series and her line of dog apparel have gone to help neglected and displaced animals in rescues and sanctuaries in Tennessee such as Willa B. Farms Animal Rescue and Smoky Mountain “Pet Haven.”
Dolly partnered with PETA to raise awareness of the needs of tethered and lonely dogs.
Dolly has also partnered with the American Eagle Foundation since 1991 to host the Eagle Mountain Sanctuary on park at Dollywood. This partnership and support has played a very important role in the public education of eagles, other birds of prey, bald eagle rehabilitation and environmental conservation.

Today we celebrated one of our own! Brittany has been a technician with us for years as she has gone through college, got accepted into vet school and now entering into her last semesters of vet school and clinicals. We would like to wish her the best as she locks in and gets some great learning experiences! With her love of animals and medicine and her contagious personality, we have no doubt she will soon be an amazing veterinarian!
