Happy Birthday Babies! Wilbur, Pedals, Poppy, Scout, Walter Jr, and Ruby . 5 years old today! Born to LeRoux and Walter , this was an amazing group of puppies. Lots of love with this group! Little Pedals was born with a cleft palate . LeRoux took great care of her, but she could not nurse due to the opening on her pallet. I tube fed her every two hours for the first two weeks. As she gained strength and grew, we increased it to every four hours all day and night. She was such a willing patient and we spent many late nights together snuggling . By the time she was six weeks old she was eating soft gruel and drinking water from a hamster bottle. She was so smart and determined. At 8 weeks, She went to live with Jill and Jon . Jill took great care of her and at six months she had her pallet surgery where they closed her open pallet with her own tissue from her mouth. She did amazing and she is a fun, loving five year-old with a sister from Rocky Flats. In the meantime, we believe Wilbur had an injury on a metal xpen. He had some growth issues with his bottom jaw and it is shorter than his top jaw. This guy is the sweetest, big, black, loving boy. He is the ambassador of his neighborhood and has the kindest soul and heart. We noticed it at the open house that his jaw was actually crooked. . His owner’s Shelly and Tim loved him from the minute they met him and take the best care of him. He is so loved and happy and now has a sister from Rocky Flats. So it was a lesson for us that sometimes it’s not all perfect but the perfect people step in and continue to love them and help them be the best they could be. Happy Birthday to Remi,Jersey, Wrigley, Max, Charlie and George!

These guys are 5 years old! Born to the most Handsome boy, Billie and the sweetest girl Leah! Such a great combination they had such sweet puppies. It’s hard to believe that was five years ago. We are hoping to use Billy again in a litter next year with Penny Ln., Penny is a sweet and kind as Billy and I know they’re going to make some wonderful puppies. Leah is done with her breeding days. She is happily living in downtown Savannah Georgia. She has a best friend who was also from Rocky Flats . Happy birthday sweet babies and thank you again Leah and Billy for making families so happy with your offspring! Celebrate big today babies!

Happy 3rd Birthday to Anna Mae, Ritchie, Clark, Mabel, Emmie Lou, Mika, Feta, Sunny and Henry. Fiona and Walters first litter! It was one of the best whelpings we have ever had. Fiona got down to business and had those puppies in a sweet second. They were all beautiful and thank the Lord healthy from the start. All over a pound and ready to start life. She was very protective and one of the best mothers. She didn’t even want the other dogs to look at them. I always say Fiona is my most instinctual dog. She’s the kennel keeper , she’s the Hunter, she is the most obedient and she is a very guarded mother. Walter puts his stamp on every one of his kids. Most of them look like him at some point in their life. Hard to believe three years has gone by so quickly I get such great reports from the owners. Fiona is pregnant now with her third and last litter. I know it will be uneventful with it being both easy and bittersweet that this will be the last . Fiona loves being a mama. Happy 11th Birthday to McKenzie,Coda, Anna Lee, Argos, Gracie, Biscuit & Perry! Great puppies born to Sweet Angel Girl and Syn . The time went so quickly! I remember so clearly the night they were born. Angel was such a precious mama to her babies. Everyone was anxiously waiting to hear what she was having. These were happy , full of fun babies. Happy birthday Sweet Babies, much love for a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday to my Sweet Annie and her 7 littermates. Born to Glory and Thor on a cold night on February 26 th with the majority of them coming the early morning of 2/27/2013. This was Glory’s first and last litter. All of these puppies were born big and Glory worked hard through the night to get them all out. She took good care of them for about two weeks and then she was done and decided she would rather be a family pet than a mama , so we knew this was going to be her only litter. We stepped in and made sure they had Mom time, nursed and were snuggled and loved. We set our eyes on Annie from the very beginning she was pink collar girl.
Some of Annie’s litter mates are not here with us anymore, but they will always be remembered and loved by their families.
Celebrate big this year babies and all of you have a wonderful day. Thank you all for being such wonderful owners to these great pups. Happy birthday, Wallace, Kingston, Stony, Titan, Missy, Sally, Obie and Annie.

Happy 1st Birthday to the sweetest box of dark chocolates and vanilla chocolates I ever received. Born Valentines Day in 2025, Fiona and Walter had 8 of the most adorable puppies . Fiona just delivered those puppies without any issues and within a short time all eight of them were here and I was making a call to the owners that were waiting to tell them the puppies had arrived. They were lively and big from the day they were born and Fiona was one of the best mothers ever. There were five blacks and three yellow babies, five boys and three girls. These guys were so smart. I knew they would be because Fiona is very smart and they just loved learning. They surprised us every day. They were willing to take on any new challenge that we were presenting for their confidence level . They all loved the music that I played for them and at about six weeks when it was time to say good night about 8:30 PM. They would all climb into the bed together. I would hit the CD button and they would listen to their baby Einstein music and go right to sleep t. At the open house we got to meet all the owners for the first time . They were all as wonderful and excited about each and every one of these babies and they loved them all from the minute they met them . All the puppies left here at eight weeks ready to start their new lives . They all excelled at puppy school and I hear from most of these owners pretty regularly and these puppies are turning out to be such amazing family dogs. I love hearing from everyone keep it up. Send pictures and give each of these special babies a hug from all us for their birthday. I know you will all be celebrated for this special day. There are some happy dogs from Rocky Flats kennels all over the US that never get to see snow and are now in a large amount of it. My dogs are so happy and so full of life even old Ruby at 14 years old! They don’t like it when it’s cold out, but they don’t wanna come in when there’s snow on the ground and it’s cold out. Show us some pictures and videos of your canine snow bunnies!
