Today, the world said goodbye to Dolly Parton, who passed away peacefully at her home in Nashville at the age of 80.

Thank you, Dolly, our mountains won’t be the same without you.
🌈 “If you see me getting smaller, I’m leaving. Don’t be sad — I’m just following the rhinestones.”

Our hearts are broken today. 💗

Dolly Parton meant so much to Pigeon Forge, the Smoky Mountains, and generations of people around the world. Her kindness, generosity, music, and love for the place she called home have left a mark that will never fade.

The Smokies simply wouldn’t be the same without her. Thank you for the music, the memories, and everything you gave to these mountains and the people who call them home.

We will always love you, Dolly. 💕🦋
