Ya'll, this was a big one! 🐶🐶
Beatrice and Abigail came to us from Anne Arundel County Animal Services. Life had been hard, but these girls fit right in as soon as they recognized our haven of hope was home. After a medicated bath, some food, and cuddles, their personalities started to shine. Abigail needed surgery, but recovered nicely. The dark they had once known was changing to light. ✨
Then, an unbelievable thing happened. After only a short time, they were adopted together! Not only will they live out the rest of their days with each other, but their new family is overjoyed to have them. They have sent countless pictures and videos showing them settling in and loving life.
A lot went into rescuing these two massive dogs who were found as strays. They needed medical attention, and sometimes finding homes for larger dogs, especially together, can be difficult. We like to think our late founder, Val, shines a light down and helps us out when he can. For Bea and Abigail, he did that and more!
