🎉 Please join us in congratulating Melissa Evans, LVT, on completing the AAHA Diabetes Management Guidelines Certificate!

Melissa joins our growing team of BMAC Diabetes Care Counselors. These team members are trained in AAHA’s current guidelines for diagnosing, treating, and monitoring diabetes in dogs and cats. A diabetes diagnosis can feel overwhelming. Our counselors help families feel confident with everything from insulin handling and injections to glucose monitoring, diet, and spotting early warning signs.

As an AAHA-accredited practice, we’re proud of a team that keeps learning so our patients get the best care possible. Way to go, Melissa! 💙

This week, we’re celebrating the dedicated veterinary technicians at Blue Mountain Animal Clinic! 💙

Our licensed veterinary technicians, Hailee, Melissa, Barbara, Kendra, Elizabeth, Courtney, and Schelle, bring so much knowledge, skill, and care to our clinic. From hands on patient care and assisting with procedures to monitoring anesthesia, supporting our veterinarians, educating clients, and comforting pets when they need it most, their work plays an important role in caring for the pets who come through our doors.

Veterinary technicians take on many responsibilities, both seen and unseen, and their contributions help make quality veterinary care possible every day. We’re thankful for the time, effort, and compassion they bring to their work and for the difference they make for our patients, clients, and team.

Spot the REAL Dr. Wagnon... the team came together today for Boss's day to mimick Dr. W. Such a fun celebration as a team! This crew is amazing! From signature ear rings to wigs to t-shirts from her closet- what fun! One of our favorite patients also joined the pic.
