We want to wish Chris all the best as he heads off to the University of Washington next week! We have been so lucky to have him on our team. You’ll still see him today and a few days next week. But do not worry. If Chris has been your field tech, Jay, the owner and lead scooper, will now be taking over his days.
Thanks again, Chris! We will miss you!

Hello! My name is Jay Lundahl. I am excited to be taking over as the new owner of Olympic Pooper Scooper!

My wife and I have lived in Sequim since 2017 and our daughter attended school with Leon’s daughters. When we heard that Leon and family were moving out of the country, it aligned with some changes in our life. We are grateful Leon was willing to entertain the idea of selling his business to us.

Leon and I will work closely in the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition. I will be driving the same vehicle, I will use the same gear, you will receive the same notifications, and invoicing will look the same. My goal is that the only thing that changes is the person behind the gear, so if you never see Leon when he is scooping, nothing should be different for you. There may be some slight adjustments to the timing of the routes, as I adjust them from my starting location, but your service day will remain the same.

That being said, happy customers are the most important part of this transition. Please reach out to me if there are any questions or concerns at (360) 797-9160.

Thank you for choosing Olympic Pooper Scooper. I look forward to working with you!

QUICK COMMUNITY UPDATE 🐾

After receiving a lot of messages and seeing some understandable concern following my recent announcement, I wanted to share some very good news:

Olympic Pooper Scooper WILL be continuing service in the Port Angeles / Sequim area under new ownership beginning this summer.

I’ve officially reached an agreement with a new owner, and we’ll be working closely together over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for all current clients.

My top priority throughout this process has been making sure this community continues to have reliable, professional dog waste removal service without interruption — and I’m incredibly grateful that we were able to make that happen.

Current clients can expect continued communication and additional updates soon, including an introduction to the new ownership team.

Thank you all again for the incredible support over the years. This business has meant so much to my family, and I’m very excited to see it continue serving the Olympic Peninsula into this next chapter.

Great service and Leon was wonderful at getting back to me the same day and getting me scheduled. Thank you for being through, communicative and professional! Highly recommend!
