Beyond our exceptional equestrian facility and offerings, WDEC's mission is to contribute to local cultural events, provide educational opportunities for the community and offer a safe place to land for animals displaced by life/catastrophic events. Our facility is stellar, with a state of the art, competition sized, lighted and fully covered arena. Footing in the covered arena is a laser-graded combination of rubber and sand that provides excellent cushioning for your horse's legs. Additionally,we have an outdoor arena fully serviced, set with jumps and dragged several times a week. Enjoy trails- cool off your horse on our creek side trails (our area has been featured in AMC's The Walking Dead! )

We offer innovative lesson programs for all ages and levels of riders. Our lesson programs cultivate a sense of community and team-minded thinking. Choose from private, semi-private and group lessons for all levels at competitive pricing. WDEC has a few fun and challenging adult lesson groups that meet in the evenings to accommodate your busy schedule. We continually evaluate our business processes to support a user-friendly environment with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

One of the challenges of balancing my full-time job with UCLA and life at Willow Dell is that my riding schedule doesn’t always line up with fitting in with our trainer, Sandra Pulliam’s lesson schedule. When I host clinics, I’m usually so busy making sure everyone else has a great experience that I don’t get the chance to ride in them myself! As Sandra Pulliam has only one day off- Sunday- (and she has certainly earned her Sundays off ❤️), those quiet Sunday mornings have become my farm version of church.

This past Sunday I enjoyed a private lesson with Louise Caccese, and it reminded me how valuable it is to keep learning. Sandra has always fostered and encouraged a barn culture of lifelong learning, and thanks to Penny Morse bringing in a diverse array of talented guest clinicians the upcoming clinic is just one more way for all of us to gain fresh perspectives and grow as riders.

I’m so excited to welcome Louise back to Willow Dell this Saturday, July 25th! If you’ve been thinking about joining the clinic, we’d love to have you. Come spend time learning, laughing, and building a better partnership with your horse. Contact me or better yet, message Penny for details on how to reserve your spot! 🐴

School is out… and our amazing teachers are in! 🍎🐴

This month, Willow Dell has had the privilege of welcoming two incredible educators, Cess and Frankie, as our summer interns. It’s been so much fun watching the teachers become the students as they trade the classroom for the barn, learning hands-on horsemanship and life at the farm.

Thank you both for your enthusiasm, hard work, and willingness to learn. We’re so grateful to have you as part of the Willow Dell!!
