Meet Marissa
STARTING IN JULY.
Hi everyone! I’d like to introduce Marissa, who will be joining our grooming family as my apprentice.
Marissa comes to us with a strong background in animal care. She worked as a veterinary technician for three years and has also spent time assisting in a grooming environment, where she gained experience in bathing and handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments.
Over the next several months, Marissa will be learning and growing here in the shop under my direct supervision. At first, she will be observing and assisting behind the scenes. As her training progresses and when she is ready, she will begin hands-on work with the dogs—always under my close guidance and watchful eye.
Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being will always remain my top priority. I am very selective about who I allow to work hands-on with your dogs, and Marissa will only be doing so when I am fully confident in her readiness.
If you are not comfortable with Marissa participating in your dog’s grooming process, please feel free to let me know at any time. We completely respect your preference. Otherwise, I will assume consent to allow her to assist as part of her training journey when appropriate.
