Today, during a patient transfer, one of our rescue dogs became frightened, slipped free, and ran from our team. Thankfully, no one was injured, and the dog’s owner has been incredibly understanding while we work together to bring this sweet pup home safely.

Our team has been searching throughout the day, and tonight we are grateful to have the assistance of a local drone operator who has volunteered to use a thermal drone to help locate the dog.

While incidents like this are rare, they are heartbreaking for everyone involved. The safety and well-being of every animal entrusted to our care is something we take very seriously, and we will continue doing everything we can until this dog is safely home.

We truly appreciate the kindness, prayers, and support from our community. We’ll continue to share updates as we have them. ❤️🐾
