A little behind-the-scenes look at Wicked Wildlife Artistry!
I wanted to share a glimpse inside my shop and show everyone what’s currently on the workbenches, what’s been completed, and what’s still waiting its turn.
Something I think is important for my customers to understand is that Wicked Wildlife Artistry is a one-woman operation. From the moment your trophy comes through my door, I’m the one skinning, fleshing, prepping, coordinating trips to and from the tannery, ordering forms and supplies, mounting, finishing, and handling every detail that goes into producing the final piece.
There isn’t a crew working behind the scenes. It’s just me, two hands, and a whole lot of hours.
Outside of the shop, I’m also a mom raising two young boys. Between school, activities, appointments, keeping up with a home, and all the responsibilities that come with being their mom, I do my very best to balance motherhood with running a business I’m incredibly passionate about.
I take a tremendous amount of pride in my work. Every animal that comes through my doors represents someone’s hunt, memory, and hard-earned trophy. I don’t take that responsibility lightly, and I refuse to sacrifice the quality of my work simply to push more mounts out the door.
Quality takes time, and when you’re a one-woman operation, time is the one thing you can’t manufacture more of.
This video is a look at the reality of my business. Some projects are finished, some are in progress, and many are patiently waiting their turn. Every single one matters to me.
To my customers, thank you for your continued patience, trust, and support. I know waiting on your trophy isn’t always easy, and I appreciate those who understand the amount of work, time, and attention to detail that goes into doing this job right.
I’m incredibly grateful that I get to make a living doing something I love, while also being present for the two little boys who mean more to me than anything.
One woman. Two little boys. Countless hours. And a commitment to producing work I’m proud to put my name on.
