Bethany’s Feline Foster Friends My name is Bethany, and started fostering animals in Central Florida in the summer of 2023. I work with Seminole County Animal Services and TEARS.

I created this page to share about fostering and get the word out about animals who need homes.

The kittens now are comfortable with me and are even starting to snuggle! It’s gotta be so scary being a tiny creature separated from mom and brought to a strange place. They are adjusting quite well, and they are funny, spunky little ones. Six weeks old, all better from tummy troubles, and will be with me probably another month.

KITTEN SEASON 🐈🍼: Kitten season is here, which means more tiny kittens are being found outdoors. Before stepping in, take a moment to observe the situation first — it can make a big difference.

• Check the kittens for signs of illness or injury. If they appear sick or hurt, call (407) 665-5201.
• Look for mom. If the kittens are warm, clean, and quiet, their mother may still be nearby caring for them.
• Know when to help. If mom hasn’t returned after several hours or the kittens are in immediate danger, contact a local shelter or rescue for guidance.

The best way to help is to observe first, act carefully, and reach out when needed.

Good morning from these tiny natural wonders: River, Meadow, Star, and Dandelion! Dandelion was sleepy while his sisters were playing, and probably be trying to play with them when they are ready for naps lol. These cuties will be ready for adoption in about six weeks.

That’s a wrap! Kipling and Keats are now worth T. E. A. R. S. and will be at the Altamonte PetCo! I really hope they get adopted together 😺😺 Keats likes to sit on shoulders and be right in the middle of everything. Kipling is more chill but very playful and hates car rides, poor guy. I have loved watching them grow! Good luck, little ones!

RAINING CATS AND DOGS: Summertime storms are a common occurrence across Central Florida—and when it’s raining outside, adoption fees at Seminole County Animal Services are waived inside!

Stop by the shelter to meet a new four-legged friend to share sunny days and cozy, rainy evenings with. ⛈️🐾❤️
