Thank you Dr. May at sa_equine_hospital for getting Paco fixed up and out the door this afternoon. And thank you Hutch Rabenaldt for tagging along while I’m still learning to drive the trailer.

Pacos got several days worth of antibiotics and a ton of stitches in his head. Thankfully the bite was the direction it was and they were able to suture it back up nicely.

Mom and Jameson shuffled stalls around and built a wall between the boys so Tricky can’t mess with him anymore. Now Paco is next to his girlfriend Prada 🤣

🚨🚨We are proud to announce our newest associate!!!🚨🚨

Dr. Livia Frazar is an experienced equine veterinarian with a special interest in performance horse medicine, chiropractic care, and acupuncture. She has practiced equine medicine and surgery for over a decade, working extensively with Thoroughbred racehorses and sport horses across the country.

Dr. Frazar earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Mississippi State University. She began her career at Louisiana Downs, later practicing at prominent racetracks including Churchill Downs, Keeneland, Fair Grounds and Oaklawn Park. Her background has given her broad experience in lameness evaluation, preventative care, and the management of equine athletes at all stages of training and competition.

With advanced training in equine chiropractic and acupuncture, Dr. Frazar takes a comprehensive, integrative approach to patient care, focusing on optimizing performance, comfort, and long-term soundness. She is passionate about developing individualized treatment plans and working closely with owners and trainers to support each horse’s overall well-being.
