🔥 PERFORMANCE HORSE TRAINING —
VERY LIMITED OPENINGS 🔥

A good horse isn’t made by simply running.

It starts with a horse that is broke, responsive, confident, adjustable, and willing to work. From there, we build the speed, rate, turn, body control, and consistency needed to be respectful and successful!

At K-1 Performance Equine Services, we take a complete approach to developing horses — whether you’re starting from the ground up or trying to take an already talented horse to the next level. 🐴💨

• Barrel pattern/ performance introduction & development
• Rate, turn & body control
• Speed control & responsiveness
• Correcting bad habits & problem solving
• Conditioning & fitness
• Hauling & exposure
• Rodeo/event seasoning
• Tune-ups & finishing
• C**t starting & foundation work
• Desensitizing & confidence building
• Consignment & sales preparation
• Feed & conditioning management

We don’t believe every horse needs the same program.

Some need miles.
Some need confidence.
Some need a stronger foundation.
Some need to slow down and learn to rate before they ever learn to go faster.

And some are ready to turn it loose. 🔥

Our goal is to develop horses that aren't just fast — but broke, dependable, athletic, and capable of handling the job they're being asked to do.

With major improvements happening around the facility, including our new well system and permanent stalls, we're preparing for the next chapter of K-1 — and we're opening up a very limited number of training spots.

✨ SOLD, HEADED TO VEGAS!! ✨

If you're looking for a nice-sized gelding with some motor and a job-oriented mindset, this guy may be worth a look!

Standing approximately 15.3 HH and in his early teens, he's the kind of horse that likes to move out and stay busy.

He is not a dead-head or a push-button beginner horse—he's more "go" than "whoa" and does best with a confident advanced beginner to intermediate rider who appreciates a horse with forward motion and a willing attitude.

This gelding has seen some miles and has experience in several areas. He knows the barrel pattern, has had a rope thrown off of him, and has been taken out on the trails.

Whether you're looking for a fun horse to ride around the ranch, enjoy trail rides, or continue advancing in the arena, he has the foundation to make someone an enjoyable partner.

✔ Approximately 15.3 HH
✔ Early teens
✔ Forward-moving and willing
✔ Knows the barrel pattern
✔ Has had a rope thrown off him
✔ Trail ridden
✔ No maintenance requirements
✔ No known previous injuries
✔ Up-to-date on vaccinations and farrier care

Finding the right match matters, and we're committed to placing him in a home where both horse and rider can succeed together. If you think this handsome gelding might fit what you're looking for, we'd love to visit with you.

We’re getting back to it YALL!

After a few days away spending time with family and travels. I’ll be back tomorrow and things are about to pick right back up!

We have had several horses arrive for consignment while I've been away and I’m genuinely excited about the group coming in.

There’s a nice variety with solid minds, and horses that are going to make great partners for the right people.

I’ll be sharing each one as I settle back in, so keep an eye out.

The mini's pictured are our personals and will possibly be offered

¡LETS TALK!
---

There’s liking horses…
and then there’s loving them for what they truly are.

Not just the pretty heads and shiny coats.
Not just the good rides and the winning moments.

I’m talking about loving the hard parts too—
The early mornings.
The setbacks.
The rides that don’t go right.
The days they test every ounce of your patience.

Because to really admire a horse…
you have to respect what they’re capable of.

Their strength.
Their intelligence.
Their sensitivity.

A thousand-pound animal that chooses to trust you…
That’s not something you take lightly.

They don’t have to listen.
They don’t have to try.
But when they do—when they meet you halfway—
there’s nothing else like it.

That kind of connection?
It isn’t forced. It isn’t bought.
It’s earned over time, through consistency, respect, and showing up even when it’s hard.

💬 Let’s hear it:
– What made you fall in love with horses?
– What’s one moment that made you stop and just admire them?
– Do you love the process… or just the outcome?

Drop a 🐎 if you know it’s more than just riding.
Tag someone who understands this kind of love.

Because once you truly see a horse for everything it is…
you don’t just ride them—
you respect them.

Control. Consistency. Honesty.

Everyone wants the finished horse—the broke, quiet, dependable one. But very few talk about what it actually takes to get there.

Control isn’t about force. It’s about clarity. It’s knowing where every foot goes, every step of the way, and being able to guide it without a fight.

Consistency is where most people fall short. Horses don’t learn from what you do sometimes—they learn from what you do every single time. The small details you let slide today become the big problems tomorrow.

And honesty… that’s the one you can’t fake. Horses feel it. They know when you’re unsure, when you’re frustrated, when you’re asking for something you didn’t prepare them for. Being honest means setting them up to succeed—not skipping steps, not rushing the process, and not blaming the horse for holes in the training.

Seasoning a horse—or building anything worthwhile in life—comes down to these three things. There’s no shortcut. No hack. Just showing up, doing it right, and doing it again tomorrow.

That’s how you build something solid. 🐎
