🇺🇸 Motivational Monday from Walter Thomas, Chief Paw-fficer of Uptown Collar 🐾
As my partner and I prepare to recertify this Saturday as a certified therapy team, I wanted to take a moment to recognize my fellow brothers and sisters in arms who serve our country with courage, dedication, and sacrifice.
A special welcome home to Capt. Fathom after 265 days aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln!
Sometimes, the greatest comfort comes without a single word. The quiet presence of a pup, a gentle nuzzle, or a furry head resting beside someone can make an extraordinary difference, especially for those separated from their families and the comfort of home.
As a therapy team, we are honored to be part of a mission that reminds us just how powerful the human-animal bond can be.
Today, we salute Capt. Fathom, all those who serve in uniform, and the incredible service and therapy animals around the world who bring comfort, healing, and hope to those who need it most.
Service comes in many forms. Sometimes, it comes with four paws and a wagging tail.
With pride -
