The K-9 Dream, LLC Dog Boarding, DayCare, and Training

The power isn’t in the chase—it’s in having the control to wait. 🔥🐾

This exercise builds impulse control by teaching a dog to remain composed around something they desperately want, then explode into action only after receiving the release command.

That balance between drive and control is what creates reliable obedience: enthusiasm without chaos, focus without suppressing the dog’s personality, and freedom that has been earned through clear communication.

The K-9 Dream offers customized dog training and board-and-train programs for puppies and adult dogs.

A reliable heel starts long before the finished behavior—it begins with engagement. 🐾

At this stage, we’re teaching this puppy that staying connected with her handler is rewarding, while building the focus, confidence, and communication needed for dependable obedience later on.

Training isn’t about expecting perfection immediately. It’s about creating a strong foundation through clear guidance, consistency, and repetition.

Two dogs. One handler. Complete focus. 🐾

Reliable obedience isn’t just about teaching commands—it’s about building clear communication, confidence, and the ability to stay engaged around real-world distractions.

Working alongside another dog adds an entirely different level of difficulty, but with consistency and structure, calm behavior becomes something your dog understands—not something you have to constantly fight for.

The K-9 Dream offers customized dog training and board-and-train programs designed to create reliable behavior that carries over into everyday life.

French Bulldog board and train working on loose leash walking, heel, automatic sits, and engagement during a public training session at Lowe’s. Public access training is one of the best ways to proof obedience around real distractions.

Would your dog stay this focused? 🐾

Public training isn’t always about perfect obedience — sometimes it’s simply about helping dogs learn how to exist calmly in the world around them 🖤🐾

Today Beekeeper and Quill worked on:
• public manners
• leash engagement
• calm neutrality
• confidence building
• settling around distractions

The more positive, structured experiences dogs get in different environments, the more confident and stable they become.

So proud of these two today.
