Double O working through public obedience training at Lowe’s Home Improvement 🖤🐾

One of the biggest goals with obedience training isn’t just teaching commands — it’s teaching dogs how to stay calm, think clearly, and stay connected to their handler even in busy environments.

Today we worked on:
• leash manners
• impulse control
• public neutrality
• engagement around distractions
• stays with environmental pressure

The dropped treats during her stay may have been accidental… but she absolutely understood the assignment 😂

Harlow is with us for reactivity training, and today was a huge win 🖤🐾

Public outings used to feel overwhelming for her, but she’s learning that she doesn’t have to react to every person, sound, movement, or distraction around her.

• learning how to settle in busy environments

Progress with reactive dogs isn’t always linear, but moments like this make it worth it.

These two used to fight over food and space.

Tension, reactivity, and no structure between them made it impossible for them to coexist peacefully.

Through consistent training, clear communication, and structured routines, we were able to completely change that dynamic.

Now they can play together, exist calmly, and even eat side by side without conflict.

This is what the right training does—not just for one dog, but for the entire household.

These kids used to be scared of their own dog.

When she first came to me, we were dealing with reactivity, lack of structure, and a lot of uncertainty in the home.

Over the course of her 8-week Board & Train, we focused on building clarity, consistency, and calm behavior—not just for her, but for the entire family.

Today, the kids are confidently walking her, and that’s the biggest win.

Training isn’t just about obedience—it’s about creating trust, communication, and a better relationship between you and your dog.
