Friends of the Seekonk Animal Shelter

Friends of the Seekonk Animal Shelter The Seekonk Animal Shelter is located at 100 Peck Street, next to the Town Hall. Every year over 400 dogs and cats are cared for at the shelter.

These animals are well fed, receive excellent veterinary care and plenty of human interaction during their time at the shelter thanks to the efforts of the Animal Control Officers and volunteers from the Save A Pet Society. Adoption Application Link

Baby Blue has found his forever home! Apparently parakeets are like potato chips and you just can’t have one. The Anderson family adopted a parakeet,Tiki, from us about a year ago and they came back for Baby Blue. We wish them all the best of luck!

If you are interested in adopting a kitten please visit the Town of Seekonk website, go to animal control department, and fill out the online application. If you are approved, we will call you to schedule an appointment!

🚨 PENELOPE IS MISSING — PLEASE KEEP AN EYE OUT! 🚨

Penelope is very petite, extremely friendly, and loves people. She enjoys being outside, but she also comes home every night to snuggle with her brother (yes, we have her biological brother too 🥰) and her boys. She is the sweetest little cat and honestly, I wouldn’t put it past her to walk right into someone’s house like she owns the place.

If you’ve seen her, even if you’re not 100% sure, please let me know! And if you happen to find a tiny, friendly cat who seems very comfortable walking into your home, there’s a good chance it could be our Penelope.

And please, I’m really not looking for a lecture about cats being indoors. ❤️ I’m just hoping someone in the area has seen our girl and can help us get her home.
