Ramblings of a hippie at heart. Check out this gorgeous tree. I believe it's a pinyon pine, correct me if I'm wrong...but I digress

My reason for sharing this beauty with you all is to remind you that even though life may plant you atop a 6000 ft. overlook where you're blasted by high desert winds, scorched by the blazing sun and inundated by tourists that simply pass you by to take in the "more stunning" views far beyond your reach...you have something special to offer right where you're at!

Even if not many see it, some do. I find such beauty and wonder and even awe in the struggle to survive. The twisted and gnarled branches and trunk tell a story of adversity overcome and I find it truly inspiring.

Just keep doing you my friends. Right where you are. Find those hardy and resilient pieces within yourself and keep up the good fight 🌿 Wherever you are, you've got this!
