In 2022, Mom and I took a huge leap and opened the doors to Scruffy 2 Fluffy. There were a lot of nerves, a lot of excitement, and honestly no clue what the next few years would look like.

Then in 2023, we won our very first Best of Sedalia.

We won Best of Sedalia again in 2024, brought home Silver in 2025, and now in 2026, Scruffy 2 Fluffy has won Best of Sedalia for the 3rd time.

3 Best of Sedalia wins in 4 years is something we are seriously so proud of.

But none of it happens without the people who have supported this shop from the beginning. The ones who helped us get started, the ones who told people about us, and every single customer who continues to trust us with their pups.

We get to know these dogs, love on them, learn all their little quirks, earn their trust, and build relationships with them and their people. That part means just as much as the award itself.

It’s crazy to look back at 2022 and remember just how nervous Mom and I were to take that leap, and then look at where Scruffy 2 Fluffy is today.

Thank you, Sedalia. Truly. We appreciate every single person who continues to support this little shop and keeps choosing us year after year. ❤️
