Adonis is a handsome 6-year-old German Shepherd who is ready for a fresh start and a family to call his own!
Adonis came to H.A.L.O. alongside his friend Ferdinand after his family faced heartbreaking financial and housing hardships. Now, this sweet boy is ready to find his next chapter filled with love, security, and plenty of tennis balls!
Adonis is the perfect mix of active adventurer and professional couch potato. He loves walks, playing fetch, and spending time with his people. He’s housebroken, knows basic commands, and is happy to show off for treats! His favorite thing, though, is being petted. Stop before he’s ready, and he’ll gently grab your hand to remind you that your job isn’t finished! 😂❤️
Adonis temperament tested well with cats and other dogs at the shelter, and we think he’d do well with kids ages 8+ who can handle his big, bouncy personality. He’s a bit of a talker, especially when excited, but settles down after being left alone for a little while.
And here’s a special bonus: Adonis already has a friend waiting in the wings! His buddy Ferdinand is currently receiving medical care that’s temporarily delaying his own adoption.
