Please be aware there have been multiple posts containing information on false t-shirt sales. This is a scam. We have reported all cases but due to the continuation, we are wanting you to have increased awareness. Oceanside Veterinary Hospital is not currently advertising/selling t-shirts.

We would like to extend our gratitude for everyone who has reached out during this difficult time. It has been incredibly uplifting to hear your messages and stories about Alissa. In time we plan to set up a fund here at Oceanside in her memory. The goal will be to help pets in need and to support families during end-of-life care, which was a passion of Alissa's.

Additionally, linked below is the Go Fund Me to support Alissa's family during this time and help with her memorial services.

We are beyond devastated to share the passing of Alissa Jarvis. Alissa has been with Oceanside for 2 years and her passion for veterinary medicine and her compassion for the animals she treated was evident from day one.

For any that had the pleasure of meeting Alissa, you know what a bright light she was. She loved glitter, music festivals, crafting, and changing her hair color monthly. She loved educating owners about pet care and was always an advocate for animals. At only 24, she had already worked in this field for over 8 years and had much more left to do.

There truly aren't words to encompass everything that Alissa was. We will all do our best to carry out her legacy. Please feel free to share any memories of Alissa or messages you would like to pass on. We ask for your grace and patience as we all try to navigate the grief caused by this senseless tragedy.

To our valued clients - please be advised we are closing early today due to a staff emergency. If you have a pet in hospital, we will call you to arrange pick up times. We plan to reopen tomorrow at 8 AM but may have limited staffing available. We apologize to all those that we had to cancel on suddenly and will be in touch as soon as possible to reschedule your appointments.

Happy New Year from Oceanside Vet!

We will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 1st for the New Year Holiday. Boarding pick up and drop off times are at 9 AM and 4 PM. We will reopen on Friday, January 2nd at 8 AM!
