UPDATE: 🐾😢💔
Although life has taken us in another direction and we’ve put out breeding program on an indefinite hold, I want to take some time to update my many bulldog families. Many of you know Lucy. She’s our original girl. The one who started it all. She had 4 amazing litters and some gorgeous pups. I still get many updates and photos today. Sadly, Lucy was diagnosed with bone cancer last fall. The vet did not feel treatment was an option and offered pain management with likely 1-2 months to live. Well, sweet Lucy lived happily well past two months. In January she celebrated her 9th birthday! But this past week she’s grown more tired. Sleeping more. Her leg tumor has grown so large now. She’s got this look in her eyes, but it’s hard to see her leave. Lucy has been with our family since 8 weeks old. She’s lived with my mom the past couple years. She’s had nothing but love and special treatment. Chicken and steak 🥩 dinners, daily pupochinos from Starbucks and all the bell rubs she’s could ask for. Today is a hard day for our family and especially my mom. Lucy knows she’s so very loved by our entire family..but my mom is her person. Please send all the prayers as Lucy prepares to cross the rainbow 🌈 bridge. She’s got some of her favorite buddies waiting for her. 💔
