After carefully evaluating two peanut butter bacon ice creams with special guest Drew Carey Junior has selected Team USA to win tomorrow’s match against Australia.

Was it strategy? Was it instinct? Was it the bacon? We may never know.

What we DO know is that Junior is available for adoption through Seattle Animal Shelter and ready to become the MVP of someone’s family. ❤️🐶

The wait is finally over!

After spending far too long at the shelter (107 days), our beloved long-stay dog and shelter favorite, Snickers has found his forever home. Watching him leave with his new family was the happiest goodbye.

Happy tails, Snickers—we’re so excited for your next chapter.

Get ready for the Furry 5K this Sunday, June 14 at Seward Park! 🐾

Here’s everything you need to know:

✅ Pre‑race packet pickup: Skip the line and grab your packet tomorrow, June 13, at the Seattle Animal Shelter Conference Room from 10 a.m.–2 p.m.
✅ Heat alert: Race day will be hot! We’ll have plenty of water stations and wading pools for pets. Please dress for the heat, drink LOTS of water and take your time!
✅ Costume Contest: Register by the photo booth from 10–11:30 a.m.
✅ Transit & parking: Please carpool or take public transit if possible.
✅ Food trucks on site: Tacos Cortes, Yummy Gyros, Mustard & Mischief, Vulpine Espresso, and Ice Cream Express will be there to keep everyone fueled.
✅ Have fun: With the heat, focus on enjoying the day — not chasing a PR. Be safe, be kind, and know you’re supporting pets in need.
