Happy everyone! This cutie is Baby Cat, a very sweet and super soft 11-year-old Manx calico, and one of the best seniors we have the pleasure of caring for! ♥️

She came in for her Senior Wellness exam and did wonderfully for her blood draw in the arms of our Veterinary Assistant Jessica.

Senior wellness visits help us spot changes early, often before your cat shows any signs. Routine bloodwork gives us a closer look at your pet’s health, helping kitties like Baby Cat stay happy and comfy for years to come! 🐾

New patient alert!! 🐕🦴

Meet 8-month-old Snuffy! This big-little guy came in to establish care with our team and get an exam on his big blue eyes, which had been a little runny. 👀 He was a shy guy for his first visit, but did great for his exam with Dr. Han. (As you can see, he was literally in great hands!)

We can already tell what a sweet puppy he is, and we’re so excited to be his trusted care team! ♥️

No appointment needed, and new clients are always welcome! Our vets are dedicated to walk-in patients all weekend, so wait times stay short and your cat or dog gets prompt, caring attention. Learn more: https://bit.ly/46lTPhr

Reasons to walk in:
🚨 Urgent (non-life-threatening) needs
🩹 Minor injuries, cuts, and wounds
🩼 Limping or pain
🟤 Vomiting and diarrhea
🟡 Urinary issues

Do you have extra towels lying around or cluttering your linen closet? We’d LOVE to take them off your hands! 😍

Your unused towels are treasures to us! 💎They help us keep patients clean and comfortable throughout their visit. We are so appreciative of every member of our community who donates their old towels to our practice! 🐾

But right now, we’re running low! So we’re asking anyone with extra clean, gently used towels to please drop them off at our practice. We’re open 7 days a week from 8 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and 8 am to 5 pm on weekends. You can swing by to drop off anytime during business hours. 13-year-old Boris is a great representation of today’s holiday, and proof that bringing your cat to the vet throughout every stage of life helps them live long, happy, healthy lives! Boris came in for dental care and was wearing the cutest donut accessory on his collar! 🍩

We’ve had some new faces join the Rainier Vet Hospital family and wanted to share! 🐾 Meet Goose, Fable, and Blaze! Goose was a very good girl for her very first visit with us! 🦴Fable is the sweetest boy who was posing for the camera in the waiting room. 📸 And Blaze was a rockstar for their first appointment. ⭐

We are so grateful for the opportunity to be the on-site vet for the Seattle Mariners

Our team has so much fun coming out and meeting so many amazing dogs and pet owners in our community! 🐶🌭

This Tuesday, August 4, you can bring the pups out to T-Mobile Park to root, root, root for the home team against the Detroit Tigers. If you go, be sure to swing by and say hi — we'll have plenty of treats for you and your pup! 🦴🐕
