Hello to all of our amazing clients! It is time to fill you in on our future plans.

As many of you know, our building has been sold and is scheduled for demolition. This coincided with the end our lease. Unfortunately, we were not able to secure a new location that was feasible, given the current challenges with commercial real estate and construction costs.

So, sadly, we will be closing our doors at the end of October, 2021.

Your pet's records will be available for a period of three years past their last exam at the clinic. Please email us at [email protected] to request records, so we can attach the records as a reply to you. They can also be emailed to any clinic requesting them.

We will miss all of you and your pets so very much. Words cannot adequately express how much we've appreciated you letting us serve you these last ten years.

Sincerely,
Dr. B, Callie, Susan, and Amanda

We unfortunately have to put a pause on accepting new surgery or dental appointments at this time so we can catch up on what we already have scheduled. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions! --Dr. B

We appear to have been having some issues with our voicemail lately. If you do not hear back from us, please email us at [email protected]! You can always email first instead of a voicemail also, whatever is more convenient for you. We try to respond to both within 24 hours.

We wanted to give our international travelers a heads up that the CDC is going to be restricting import of dogs from high risk rabies countries beginning July 14, 2021, including personal pets. The restrictions and guidelines to bring a pet into the states can be found here, as well as a list of the countries considered to be high risk. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions!

We wanted to send out a quick reminder that even though WA is lifting all COVID restrictions today, we are still requiring mask use in the clinic at all times, regardless of vaccination status. Thank you for your understanding!

06/28/2021

We are so sorry to say that one of the clinic's HVAC units appears to be down, so the clinic is quite a bit warmer than is comfortable. We're giving it a little more time to see if the building manager can work some magic, but if not then we will be closing early today at noon so Dr. B and and staff can sweat in the privacy of their own homes instead of at work. :-( We will be calling our afternoon appointments shortly to reschedule.

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT! The Blue Pearl in North Seattle will be closing to emergency patients for the foreseeable future beginning June 23. The specialty clinics there will continue operating. Please do not take your pet there in an emergency. The next closest emergency clinic is Animal Medical Center in Shoreline. Other emergency options are Emerald City in Wallingford, Veterinary Specialty Center in Lynnwood, and the Blue Pearls in downtown Seattle and Kirkland. Please plan ahead, just in case.

06/11/2021

We are so sorry to have to do this, but we are no longer able to accept new clients temporarily with the exception of spay and neuter surgeries. We do not have the capacity to see new clients at this time. This will likely be at least through Sept. 1, 2021. Thank you so much for your understanding. --Dr. B

I'm sure you've all heard the announcement from the CDC regarding taking off your mask if you've been vaccinated. Caring Pet Clinic still requires you to wear a mask while you are in the clinic. Not every member of the staff has been vaccinated, so we need to protect them so we can continue to help your pets. Thank you for your understanding. --Dr. B

I wanted to let everyone know that we will temporarily be closing early on Fridays starting April 16. This may seem counterintuitive since veterinarians are busier than ever right now, but this decision is for protection of the mental health of the staff-- they are working harder than ever, and if they get burned out, they cannot take the usual excellent care of your pets. I thank you all so much for your understanding, and all of us here at CPC really appreciate you! --Dr. B
