Taking it to the streets 🐾🌆 WEEK 3!
This week was all about generalization practice—taking those skills out into the real world and making learning fun, functional, and realistic! 💪🐶

We explored:
🛍️ Pet-friendly stores
🚶‍♀️ Busy streets and new surroundings
🌳 Chilling and practicing at the park
🥕 Walking through the farmers market

Every new environment is an opportunity to build confidence, focus, and flexibility. 💛

And just like that… next week is FINAL GRADUATION WEEK! 🎓🐾 We can’t wait to celebrate all the progress made along the way!

🎓 Graduation Week! 🎓

Our Training Games for Fun and Focus students have successfully completed their 5-week course!

Throughout the program, students learned how to respectfully coexist with one another, maintain focus, and work through distractions with confidence. Guardians gained valuable skills in reading body language, effective management and training strategies, and, most importantly, the importance of patience, resilience, and having fun while teaching.

I am incredibly proud of all the hard work and progress made by both students and guardians. Thank you for being part of this journey!

I hope to see you back in class again soon. Congratulations, graduates! 🎉

**自宅介助犬（Skilled Companion Dog）**は、
主に自宅環境において、障がいのある方や支援を必要とする方の
日常動作を補助するためにトレーニングされた犬です。

主なサポート内容👇

✅ 立ち上がりや移動時の補助
✅ 服薬・食事などの生活リマインダー
など、個々のニーズに応じた支援が可能です。

⚠️ 重要事項
自宅介助犬は公的に認定されたサービスドッグではありません。

Did you know you can train a Skilled Companion Dog (At-Home Service Dog) to support your daily challenges?🐾💛

𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗼𝗴𝘀, also known as 𝗔𝘁-𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝗴𝘀, are trained to assist with disabilities at home

They can:
✅ Pick up dropped items
✅ Help with mobility tasks
✅ Schedule reminder (ex. medication time, meal time)
…and much more!

Important to know that Skilled Companion Dogs/ At-Home Service Dogs are 𝗡𝗢𝗧 Service dogs. They 𝗗𝗢 𝗡𝗢𝗧 have public access like service dogs do. Skilled Companion Dogs/ At-Home Service Dogs will be treated as 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀.
