1 hour walk, $35
$15, 2nd dog
$75/day base rate pet sitting, additional charges may apply for extra home care or extensive medications or walking needs and additional pets

I spent some cuddle time with Voodoo - a double-coated Lion mane rabbit that is part of the larger pet clan I care for in Magnolia this evening. Voodoo recently lost her sister, Pancake, and was showing some signs of what I suspected to be grief. After looking it up on Gemini, I had my suspicions confirmed. Decreased appetite and signs of frustration and anger (nipping at my fingers). I wasn't sure if rabbits are like humans with benefitting from coregulation, but I held her to my chest and did some slow breathing. She seemed more calm by the end when I out her back in her cage. Animals are very smart and sensitive. 🥹

A little energy patting to meditate on for your midday! Prince really loves a gentle but firm body pat down, moving his little energies around. Even when he gets slightly overstimulated and gives a little "love bite", he knows I have acknowledged him and settles down when I tell him "gentle". He is one of my bestest feline friends! 😻

This tub o' fluff, Prince, is everything you would want in a cat - cuddly, loving, funny, very intuitive to his humans, and so smart! I love the time I get to spend with him. The hardest part (for both of us!) is when it is time to separate. And the hardest part for him alone is when it is only 3 pm and he thinks that my movement through the house means it is time for dinner, and I have to tell him, " Not yet!" 😅😸

Yesterday, I enjoyed another beautiful walk with my trio from West Seattle - Country, Mia, and Granny. I got to catch the last magical aspects of the Astra Lumina light installation and landscaping art at the Chinese Garden we walk through, as they were removing all of it post-show season. It has been a well-enjoyed backdrop to our weekly walks! 🥲
