Cloud Grooming is looking to add a new groomer to our team! We’re q***r owned and very lgbtq+ friendly. My wife has a photography studio in our salon, so we have a ton of amazing photos of our grooms all the time.
We have a great clientele and specialize in asian style and fear free grooming. This position is full time and training will happen at the shop, but could move to mobile and be a mobile grooming position as our van is getting fixed now!
I (Jules, the owner) have been studying asian style and asian grooming techniques for a few years. I had an amazing experience visiting a ton of shops in Japan to see how they groom, and it helped me so much in getting my dogs to look how I wanted. I also have 8 years of competition grooming knowledge, as well as dog show grooming. I’m big on great prep work, products, and sc******ng techniques!
We help dogs feel calm, comfortable, and cooperative for their grooms. We keep in mind dogs' anxiety thresholds and don’t push them past things they can’t handle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn more about canine behavior and making grooming a more pleasant experience for our pets!
We have 2 amazing full time groomers at our shop with one more full time position available.
New groomers go through a training period to learn our bathing and prepping techniques. After that we’ll work on how we achieve our Cloud style cuts with grooming training.
All groomers at our shop are required to be fear free certified. If you are not certified but interested, we may be able to help!
Pay is 35% commission + tips after completing training with us, before then will be an hourly rate based on experience while training.
Must have at least 2 years grooming experience. This is a great opportunity to grow and take your grooming to the next level.
