My girl, it’s been 1 whole year without. 1 whole year without your stank frito feet. 1 whole year without the craziest zoomies any dog could have. 1 whole year without the most unconditional, indescribable, purest love I’ve ever known. I’ve missed every second of every day for that whole entire year.

Life has life’s so had the last few months that I’ve slacked on this page and even forgot to post my little babyyyy 🥹

This is 9 month old Ryuu (Ree-You). I adopted him in March after months of debating on whether I’d get another dog after Calli passed in October. I just so happened to come across him and fell in love 💕 He’s grown and changed so much since March and has already helped me get through a lot. I like to think that Calli picked him for me and is watching over him♥️ I can’t wait for many many more years with you PeeYew 💚

You were the best dog I’ve ever known. You were my reason to better myself. You helped make me the person I am today and the reason why I chose to work with animals.

I owe my whole life to you Calli. None of this feels real and I’m hoping that I’ll just wake up..I was so convinced you’d live forever. I have no words to express the grief that I am feeling. I lost my dog, my best friend for the last 13 years, and the one thing that saved my life over and over. From that day I decided to rescue you to foster I knew Id never be able to let you go and just never looked for another home..I just wish you were here..I know you’re spreading love in whatever afterlife you’ve been given. I love you so so much butt butt

Calli passed suddenly Wednesday afternoon from an undetectable cancer that caused a tumor on her heart that ruptured.
