A Friendly Reminder 🐾
Please don't assume that because you see small dogs and big dogs playing together that we don't know what we're doing.
At Licky Paws Boarding, the safety and well-being of every dog is always our top priority. We carefully evaluate personalities, temperaments, play styles, and relationships—not just size—when determining play groups.
In fact, many of our clients have both large and small dogs living together in the same household. Dogs don't judge each other by size, and neither do we. What matters most is compatibility, supervision, and creating positive experiences for every pup.
Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment where dogs can socialize appropriately and enjoy their time with friends—big and small. 🐶💕🐾

We are gonna try something new for 2027 on our schedule.
We are gonna close for a weekend every 2-3 months for more family time. Summer months do not apply. If i feel like we have more clients needing to book when off, we will probably adjust or just find a better way around our time. Yall make our business and support our family and we couldnt do this without YOU!

I have had few questions on my grooming. Yes, I am still doing big dogs! I will NOT do any deshedding or fluffy dogs ( extremely hairy) like goldens, aussies, huskies or GS because of the
amount of hair when drying that flies around, due to my breathing issues. If you are not sure what categories your dog/s may fall into for me, just send me a message. TIA

Starting June 15th, I will start taking SOME grooming appointments. Since, I have cut back on my grooming, my respiratory issues have improved some. I still cant rule it totally out, but I will take on some appointments. I will not take on any deshedding, or extremely hairy dogs FOR NOW! I am not 100% and probably never will be again, since I have to limit what breeds I can do for now.

If you decide not to use me again, that is ok too. There are plenty of great groomers I can refer you too.
