Working on a 22.5" brown trout. Fish has been antiqued and ready for a paint job. It's very important at this stage to think of the painting as more of a "tinting" process. I struggled when I started with "overpainting" fish. it's easy to paint too heavy but it's best to work in layers. Fish are like onions, they have layers. This is the first layer of many.
