Finally finished getting everyone groomed.

I did forget to do a video of Rosie and Mandi.
Rosie is a F1 standard sheepadoodle and her daughter is Suzie. They have very similar coats.

Mandi is a AKC Standard Poodle and her granddaughter is Gracie. They look very similar and have the curly poodle coat.

Hope the videos helped with questions regarding coat types.

BUDDY,
Buddy is an AKC registered Old English Sheepdog. As you can see his coat is mostly straight with some wave in areas. As it gets longer and heavier it does get straighter.
The coats you see at dog shows has been washed, blow dried and brushed. They are beautiful but A TON of work.

One thing i want to touch on about grooming. Whether you are grooming your dog or have a groomer. Grooming on a regular basis lets you or your groomer have their hands on every inch of your dog. You can look and feel for any new lumps or bumps, sores, if they are loosing weight, gaining weight, check out their toe nails, pads of their feet. You look in their ears, look at their teeth. A problem found early is always easier to handle before it gets out of control. 🙂

Gracie after her groom. She's being a little stubborn on sit. She knows its treat time. I did make her sit on command before she got it. She was very happy with her treat afterwards.

Gracie is an Akc registered Standard Poodle. As you can see she had a very thick, dense, curly coat. That is where the curls come from in most doodles.

Bella after her groom. Yes, its just like the others but thats my preference.
You will notice how gray she looks. When her coat is longer it gets darker. Bella was born Black and White. As she got older her coat faded. Very very common in sheepadoodles. It is from inheriting a fading ( untestable) gene from both parents. That is a WHOLE different topic. Lol

Bella is also F1 standard size sheepadoodle. Her mom is a Standard Poodle and her dad is a Old English Sheepdog. She just turned 13 months old.
Bella has a straight / slightly wavy coat just like her Old English Sheepdog father.

Miss Dixie,
Dixie is a f1 standard size sheepadoodle. Her mom is an Old English Sheepdog and dad is a Standard Poodle. She just turned 14 months old.
She has a loose curly coat. We have seen that when the standard poodle is the dad, we get more of the loose curly to curly coats.
That doesn't mean EVERY f1 with those parents will have a curly coat, we have just seen it in our lines. We still get puppies with that cross with straight/ wavy coats as well.
