Night shift training! Rose, Echo, and Shadow all got some time on the boxes last night/early this morning to imprint some odor.

The first group of dogs for our new detection program are here! These dogs will be trained for detection of various odors and man-trailing and eventually placed with law enforcement agencies to serve their communities. They’ve already begun training and all of them are naturals to the game!

All of these dogs were evaluated by myself, cleared by veterinary professionals, and adopted from private owners and the Montgomery County, NC Animal Services. Through our detection program, they will all get new leases on life.

Happy 7th birthday to our namesake! Today is also the 6th anniversary of the day I picked him up.

Starting January 1, 2024, I’ll start doing private lessons only and will no longer offer board & train programs. Lessons will be done at your home, mine, or a public place. I will also perform free 30-minute evaluations at my house if you would like to meet before paying for lessons.

We’re still here at the TCA holiday craft fair!

I’ll be at the TCA holiday craft fair on December 2nd. I’ll be giving out information about my training programs and pricing, giving demonstrations with our mascot Emma, and if you bring your pup, we can do a free eval outside of the school (please do not bring your dog inside the building and clean up after your pup outside). I will also be giving a discount code for anybody who visits the fair. Come see all of the vendors and Mr. & Mrs. Claus!!
