🐾 SWAYZE IS ALMOST READY TO STEAL YOUR HEART! 🐾

Meet Swayze, a handsome little guy who is the best of both worlds! 😻 At approximately 10 weeks old, this sweet boy has already mastered the art of being irresistible.

Found outside by a Good Samaritan, Swayze is now getting his chance at the happily-ever-after he deserves. ❤️ He’s playful, affectionate, loving, and quite the little chatterbox! He’ll keep you laughing with his kitten antics and melt your heart with his affection.

And that little black, heart-shaped nose? 🖤 Come on! How are you supposed to say no to that face?!

❤️🐾 There are some moments that remind you just how much good there is in the world, and this was one of them. Two amazing people poured their hearts into bringing their community together for a night of fun, all for the love of animals. Through Dancing for the Doggies and Kicking It Up for the Kitties, they raised money and collected supplies to help local rescues, and we were incredibly honored to be one of the rescues chosen to receive that kindness and support.

I think you can tell by the look on my face that I was a little shocked! 🥹 As someone who normally works behind the scenes, being on the receiving end of such generosity was completely unexpected and truly touching.

To everyone who organized, donated, and came out to support this wonderful cause, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your kindness will make a real difference for our rescue and the animals in our care. What an amazing community, and what a beautiful reminder of what we can accomplish when we come together for those who need us most. ❤️🐶🐱

🖤 LOOK AT CORALINE NOW! 🐈‍⬛

The first picture is Coraline when she first came into rescue, scared, hiding, and unsure of the world around her. The second picture is Coraline today, showing just how far this little girl has come. 🥹❤️

Coraline has been learning that people can be kind, that she is safe, and that she can trust. She comes to me, rubs all over my legs, and is building that bond one day at a time. Watching her blossom has been so rewarding.

Now, she’s ready for her next chapter! 🏡

Coraline is looking for a patient, loving person who will give her the time she needs to build that same bond in her forever home. She may need a little time to warm up, but the love and trust that follow are worth it.

She doesn’t need someone to change who she is. She just needs someone willing to let her become the cat she was always meant to be. 🖤

CALLING SUSSEX CAT LOVERS🐱🏠 Our feral cat houses are on their way to HAP Rehoboth Beach! We would like to thank our partners, Faithful Friends Animal Society, for helping us ensure the cats in our community are safe and warm as temperatures drop!

📅Houses will be available for pick-up at HAP Rehoboth Beach on Thursday, October 15 from 11am - 5pm

🏡💕 ALEIGHA’S FOREVER FAMILY IS STILL OUT THERE! 💕

Aleigha’s breeding days are behind her, and now it’s her turn to discover what life can be like when she’s loved simply for being herself. 🤍

This beautiful West Highland White Terrier, better known as a Westie, is approximately 5 years old and weighs around 15 pounds. She has a whole lot of personality packed into that little body!

Aleigha has spent her life as a breeding dog, and now it’s her turn to discover a whole new world. She hasn’t yet experienced what it’s like to have a family of her own, a cozy place to sleep, and people who love her simply for being her. She has so much to learn, and we hope someone will give her the patience, kindness, and time she needs to discover just how wonderful life can be. 🤍

Aleigha may be a little shy when you first meet her, but she warms up quickly. She’s playful, sweet, and continuing to blossom as she experiences new things. She has already attended several adoption events with us and has done remarkably well! 🥹💕 It’s been wonderful watching her take in her surroundings and grow more comfortable with the world around her.

🐾 A LITTLE ABOUT ALEIGHA:

🤍 Approximately 5 years old
🐶 Around 15 pounds
💕 Sweet, playful, and friendly
🐕 Gets along wonderfully with other dogs

Aleigha is learning to walk on a leash and use a doggy door. She will need patience, understanding, and continued help with house training as she adjusts to life in a home. Her new family will need to remember that many everyday things may be completely new to her. With time and kindness, she deserves the opportunity to learn at her own pace. 🏡

❤️ IMPORTANT MEDICAL INFORMATION

Aleigha has a slightly enlarged heart and has been evaluated by a veterinarian. At this time, she is showing no signs of related health issues. Her veterinarian is not concerned and feels she has a good outlook for the future. While her long-term health cannot be guaranteed, there are currently no concerns affecting her quality of life.

Imagine being the person who gives Aleigha her first real taste of family life. The cozy beds, the little routines, and the comfort of finally belonging somewhere. She may have some learning to do, but the bond you build with her could be something truly special. 🤍🐾

🐾💕 MEET TINKER! YOUR LITTLE SHADOW IS WAITING FOR YOU! 💕🐾

Just look at this sweet little face! 🥹 Tinker is a 1 year 9 month old, 9-pound poodle who is ready to find the person she can call her very own!

Tinker can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a little time and she’ll warm up. Once she feels comfortable, she loves being in your lap, soaking up affection, and playing with her toys. ❤️ She’s a little girl with lots of love to give!

Tinker has been attending adoption events with us, and she’s been doing wonderfully! 🐶💕 She’s getting out, meeting people, and showing us what a sweet companion she can be.

🐾 A LITTLE ABOUT TINKER:

💕 1 year and 9 months old
🐶 Approximately 9 pounds
🧸 Loves toys and lap time
❤️ Affectionate once she warms up
🐕 Gets along with other dogs
🏡 Still working on house training, crate training, and walking on a leash

Tinker is still learning some of the basics of being a family pet, so she’ll need a patient home willing to help her continue building confidence and learning new things.

Soren is trading life on the streets for cozy naps, a new four-legged buddy, and a family to call his own. Something tells us he’ll settle in just fine, especially when he realizes he’s there to be spoiled! 😂🩶

A huge thank you to Soren’s new family for giving this little guy the life he deserves. We couldn’t be happier knowing he’s headed to a home where he’ll be so loved.
