Oliver was previously adopted from griffin pond prior to us having made the “next of kin “ requirement on our applications.

He was a bright , lovable interactive character.
He would approach for pets and we had adopters in a tug of war over who would get to take him home .

He and and his sister Katie previously lived in the same home where their mom passed and their dad is currently very ill.

We are trying to help them but we are failing.

They need to be allowed to adjust in a home setting where they can be monitored and receive the love and attention they deserve .

Please have family, friends, someone in place for your aging animals .

This is such a common occurrence and one that truly breaks our hearts. 💔

Oliver is 12 and Katie is 9 years old.
They both need dental work which will be completed prior to adoption.

Our office will be closed this Friday and Saturday in observance of the 4th of July. Please check in with us if you need medication, sedatives, prescription food, etc. before the holiday sneaks up on us! Stay safe and enjoy! 🙂

Scranton Spay/Neuter Division is a subsidy of St. Cats & Dogs Inc. of Nay Aug Zoo, a 501(c)3 non-profit animal welfare organization. We are a feline-only spay & neuter clinic and only offer vaccines at time of surgery.

🐾 UPDATE: Our Summer Animal Welfare Community Clinic Registration is Now Closed 🐾

We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming response to our upcoming Summer Animal Welfare Community Clinic on Saturday, July 11th! Thanks to the support of our community, we have received over 120 registrations, and our registration form has now been closed.

Please note:
📋 Registration does NOT guarantee that your pet will be seen at the clinic. The registration form was used to help us estimate attendance, prepare supplies, and ensure we have adequate vaccines, preventatives, and microchips available.

🐾 The clinic will still operate on a first come, first served basis from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM at Nay Aug Park's Community Room.

🚫 Please do not arrive before 9:00 AM.
⏰ Depending on turnout and supply availability, we may need to stop accepting additional check-ins during the day.

We appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as we work to serve as many pets as possible. Thank you for helping us keep animals healthy and supported throughout our community! 🧡

🐾 Our Second Summer Animal Welfare Community Clinic is coming up! 🐾

Thanks to grant funding from the Robert H. Spitz Foundation, NEPA Animal Welfare Collaborative in partnership with the NEPA Rescue Veterinary Clinic at Indraloka Animal Sanctuary is proud to offer free services for cats and dogs at our next summer clinic on Saturday, July 11th at Nay Aug Park's Community Room from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Services include:
🐾 Rabies Vaccine
🐾 Distemper Vaccine
🐾 Bordetella Vaccine
🐾 Flea/Tick Preventative (monthly topicals, pets must be present)
🐾 Microchip

Services are free for cats and dogs. Donations are accepted and appreciated.

Byron is approximately 3 years old and weighs 16 pounds.
He came in as a stray and no one is looking for him .
He’s new to us and we’re just getting to know him but small dogs don’t last .
