IMPORTANT NEWS!!!!
After a lot of thought, I’m excited (and definitely a little emotional!) to share that I’m starting a new chapter in my grooming business.
My husband and I have decided to sell our downtown building and will be closing the downtown salon and moving my grooming business into a smaller home based salon!
This is a big change from what my business has looked like over the years. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to grow my business into a busy downtown salon with an amazing team and hundreds of wonderful clients. I’m so proud of what we’ve built together!
At this point in my life, though, I’m ready for something different. My childcare situation has changed, and being able to work from home and be close to my family has become really important to me. Moving my grooming business home will allow me to continue doing what I love while creating a schedule and business that fits our family better.
Because the home salon will be much smaller, I unfortunately won’t be able to accommodate everyone I’ve been grooming at the shop. That is definitely the hardest part of this transition, and I know there will be some disappointed people and some difficult conversations over the next couple of weeks.
I also know this is happening very quickly, and I appreciate everyone’s patience while I get everything organized. I currently have a very full schedule, so I will be reaching out to clients individually as I work through upcoming appointments and determine what I’ll be able to accommodate going forward. This isn’t the end of my grooming business, it’s a new version of it.
I’m really excited to create a cozy, more personal home salon and continue doing what I love, just on a smaller scale and in a way that works better for this season of our lives.
Thank you to every client, every dog, every employee, and every person who has supported me along the way. I truly wouldn’t be here without you, and I’m so excited to see what this next chapter brings! 🐶❤️✂️
***We were trying to message you all personally before we made a public post but unfortunately living in a small town has its downsides. If you haven’t received a message from us, please know that we plan on messaging you personally still. I just have hundreds of messages to send and a 1 year old to chase around.***
