As a new exciting hunting season approaches, I just wanted provide a shop update. I still have some 2025 deer that I will be trying to get through before getting busy taking in new deer. Usually around Halloween through Thanksgiving I am doing nothing but skinning and fleshing new deer coming into the shop so I will get through as many as I can before this happens. If you are waiting on a deer it will still be around that year turnaround time give or take. Just be patient and I promise a great looking mount when you get that call. 😊. I will never rush through work just to get it done.
I also wanted everyone to know there will be a price increase on all services through the shop year. I will post my 2026 pricing schedule once I finalize it this week. I am constantly trying to keep cost down for my clients and myself, but that is impossible these days if you want a quality product. I do not cut corners and I do not use cheap materials. My past customers know that I will not sacrifice quality just to save a few bucks. I have a sign in my shop that reads,
“The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten”.
Those of you that have picked up a subpar or awful mount know the feeling and that is something I strive to never let happen in my shop. I know everything is more expensive than it probably should be these days and I do not like raising my prices, but the numbers have to make sense for the shop. If you find a guy that does quality work at a cheaper price I do not blame you a bit for going to him, but I have done many remounts for the hunter that used the cheaper guy so proceed with caution 😊. I strive to produce the most life like mount possible and unfortunately that comes at a higher cost. I appreciate all my customers as I could not do this job full time without your business and like I always say thank you for trusting me with your trophies.
