Drs. Lily Rieks and Amy Leibeck travelled to Lexington for the holiday weekend in order to represent GVEC and to get third year veterinary students enthused about a life in equine practice. They visited with over 50 of the 300 students in attendance at their booth. Additionally they helped the students in wet labs and on tours of Winstar Farm, Keeneland Race Track and Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. Maddy Kinsella and Riley Leibeck are well known faces at GVEC and they were there from Univeristy of Guelph and Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.
