🖤 Prince of Darkness Update! 🖤
Our little bionic kitty had his 4-week X-rays today, and we couldn't be happier with what we’re seeing!
Not only has he gained 1/2 lb but there is LOTS of new bone and callus formation around his fracture, the leg is staying nicely aligned, and his plate and screws look great. The fracture line is still visible, so he’s not completely healed yet, but he is healing really, really well!
And the BEST news… Dr. Ellie has officially released him from crate rest! 🎉🎉🎉
He can now have low, controlled activity and start enjoying a little more freedom. However, he has NOT been cleared for his favorite activities yet! NO hamster wheel running and NO climbing his 6-foot cat tree! Those will have to wait until that leg is stronger.
We're so incredibly thankful for his amazing surgical team at Nashville Road Animal Hospital and everyone who has supported our bionic boy through this whole ordeal. ❤️
