𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 to some very special people, Derek & Loresa McCoy of Bayfield, Colorado, on their purchase of 𝗔𝗕 𝗦𝗠𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗛! 👏

This one means a little more to us.

Derek & Loresa have been our neighbors and friends at our Bayfield, Co. Ranch. They were absolute lifesavers for us during some of our hardest times, helping care for horses, dogs and our property. Most recently, they also did an incredible job selling our amazing lil’ slice of heaven in Colorado. They are the kind of lifelong friends you’re simply grateful to have.

They’ve also been wanting a nice prospect from our program which makes seeing this gelding headed home with them even sweeter.

Derek has roped for years before stepping away to focus on work and life. Now, as life starts to slow down a little, he has more time to get back to some of the things he enjoys. He couldn’t have been more excited to purchase a horse of this caliber. For a cowboy who remembers the days when good horses didn’t come with today’s price tags, this was a pretty big purchase and an even bigger moment!

And we think he picked a GOOD one.

𝗔𝗕 𝗦𝗠𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗛 is a 2024 gelding with the pedigree, mind and potential to have one heck of a future. By Reyzin The Cash and out of 𝗔𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗠𝗡 𝗕𝗢𝗢𝗡 (LTE $244K, PE $1.9M+), he has all the ingredients to develop into the extensive ranch and rope horse Derek has been looking for.

There are good sales, and then there are the ones that just feel right. This is definitely one of them.

Derek & Loresa, thank you for your friendship, everything you’ve done for us over the years and your confidence in our program. We couldn’t be happier to see 𝗔𝗕 𝗦𝗠𝗢𝗢𝗧𝗛 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗛 headed to such a deserving home.
