I just don't even know where to start. Desmond is a literal Angel on earth. His compassion and kindness and empathy are present each and every interaction you have with him. And when you are saying your last goodbyes to your beloved animal companions we all know how much that empathy and compassion are needed. I have cried on his shoulder many times over the years as he has come out to our farm sanctuary to take our animals after they have passed. I will never forget the first time I met him. I had spent 3 days in the Barn with my dying sheep. It was during a February blizzard in Washington state. It was 8 degrees and the ground was covered in snow and ice. Desmond pulled up in his beautiful truck and stepped out dressed to the nines in a beautiful suit and coat and dress shoes. He must have left a nice event to come retrieve my sheep. He was always there when you needed him. He walked down to the barn with me through the snow. I kept telling him "I'm so sorry you are going to get all dirty" and he just smiled and did his sweet laugh and said "oh please don't worry about it" he walked through the muddy snow and helped carry my 200lb sheep up to his truck. I felt totally at ease knowing she was going with him. I knew I could trust him to take care of my deceased sheep with the same compassion he would my grandmother. That was the first time we met but certainly not the last. He came up to the farm for my dog, my 400lb pig, many chickens, and many rabbits over the years. He even came and got the skeletal remains of one of the feral farm cats we found 9 months after she had gone missing. He builds long lasting friendships with his clients. He's not just a transporter for deceased pets. He is seriously the kindest soul that shows up when you need him and takes your beloved familiars to their final resting place. We were so sad when he moved but now you all get to experience this great service by this great man.
