Emergencies can strike at any time, whether you’re at home, running errands around town, or traveling. When they do occur, you should always be prepared with a dog first-aid kit, in addition to your human supplies.

Here is a list of items that can be included in your pet's first aid kit:

🔸 Gauze pads and bandages
🔸 Adhesive tape
🔸 Antiseptic wipes or spray
🔸 Hydrogen peroxide
🔸 Digital thermometer
🔸 Scissors
🔸 Small flashlight
🔸 Towels
🔸 Tweezers
🔸 Petroleum jelly or lubricant

When it comes to caring for your puppy, the best time to start grooming them is 8-12 weeks old. Before that age, they need more frequent check-ins with their veterinarian before introducing to a new environment like being groomed.👨‍⚕️ At this stage in life, puppies are learning so many things and should not be overwhelmed by too much change all at once - which includes getting fully clipped! Instead, consider going through just one session of the get-acquainted process: introduce bathtime rituals; clip nails; try out some basic trims while keeping those coats longer until they can handle full haircuts when older.✂️🐩

Knee injuries are common in dogs and can range from minor sprains to more serious ligament tears. One of the most common knee injuries in dogs is a cranial cruciate ligament, or CCL, tear. This type of problem won’t fix itself and can result in permanent damage if not treated properly.🐕
