🔺The Showmanship Pivot🔻

It’s one of the most anticipated Showmanship maneuvers to watch and often the most stressful to perform: the challenging pivot. The multi-tasking that is involved for exhibitors to execute this technical maneuver correctly can be overwhelming, and it’s equally as demanding for the horses that show in this class.

Three Showmanship trainers -- Clint Ainsworth, Jenny Frid, and Shannon Watters-- share tips in a 2024 issue about how to fix pivot problems and how to keep the right foot grounded–in practice and in the show ring.

This level of try is the missing link for most of this generation’s athletes. Most people would just say “I guess I wasn’t meant to get there tonight”.

No one thinks, “this is the next obstacle before I get the opportunity to do something great!”

He didn’t set out to break a record, he just had no quit.

The weather is beautiful and we are a week out from summer schedule beginning! Please be sure you have rescheduled for the summer schedule which begins June 1 and goes through the end of July. We will have a modified schedule for August as usual, and then we’ll go back to a September to May schedule. Please take the time to get on the master schedule!

We are excited to officially begin rolling out our new scheduling and client management system through the Vagaro app! This new system will make scheduling, communication, notifications, waivers, forms, and account management much easier moving forward.
Over the next few days, you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to access your EXISTING account.
 Please DO NOT create a new account manually.
Your account has already been created in our system using the email we currently have on file for you.
Once you receive the email: (From Vagaro)
✔ Download the Vagaro app from the App Store or Google Play
✔ Follow the login instructions provided (in your Email)
✔ Search and bookmark “Bein Performance Horses” for easy future access
Inside the app you will be able to:
• View appointments and schedules
• Receive reminders and notifications
• Complete waivers and forms
• Access policies and terms & conditions
• Manage your account information
All required forms, waivers, and terms & conditions must be completed and signed before June 1.
We are excited for this next step and all the improvements coming with it as we head into our summer season! More updates, scheduling information, and summer program announcements will be coming soon.

Abby and Lefty have been making great strides this last year! They have been consistent at 71 this season, with in unfortunate penalty breaking the streak their second run at this show, still earning reserve circuit champion in the rookie! We always love to see a rider grow with their horse!
