Meet Dr. Mackenzie Eschberger!

We're excited to welcome Dr. Eschberger to our veterinary team! She's already seeing patients and can't wait to meet you and your furry family members.

Dr. Mackenzie Eschberger was born and raised in Michigan. She earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Arizona. After completing her veterinary education, she chose to remain in Arizona to begin her career, having fallen in love with the state's year-round sunshine, beautiful landscapes, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventure.

Professionally, Dr. Eschberger has a special interest in surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. She enjoys the variety that veterinary medicine offers and is passionate about helping pets live happy, healthy lives while building lasting relationships with their families.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Eschberger enjoys spending time outdoors and can often be found running, hiking, or wake surfing. She loves traveling, exploring new coffee shops, and never passes up an opportunity for ice cream. One of her favorite companions is her Terrier Mix, Petey, who keeps life fun and active. Wondering what a De-Shed Treatment actually does? It safely pulls away all the dead, loose undercoat fur that standard brushing misses. This way, less fur ends up all over the house; your dog feels lighter and more comfortable, and you get a break from constant vacuuming!

10/02/2026

If it feels like there’s dog hair all over your home, on your clothes, and in your car, it’s shedding season. We’ve got you covered - purchase a Bath & Brush by 10/31 and get 50% off a De-Shed Treatment that clears out the loose undercoat causing all that fuzz. Your home (and your vacuum) will thank you.

Due to the events of the F3 tornado that hit the Valley View & Sanger, TX area, the Animal Hospital on Milam Road's wonderful staff has gone out into the community & rescued many fur babies and brought them back into the clinic for shelter and care.

There are many pups that they have under their care as well as that have needed treatment. One of their lovely guests is named Willow & was found on the side of the road by a wonderful human & she has a broken leg & pelvis that needs an important extensive surgery! Funds will go towards Willow's surgery, vaccinations, medications, & other treated injuries! They also have some pups that have found their owners but will be staying at the clinic at no cost due to their homes being destroyed or them being hospitalized themselves that funds will go towards.

We would love your help in raising money! These sweet babies have been through so much trauma already & we appreciate absolutely everything that this community has already done to help them! If you feel led to donate to the cause, please use this link: https://www.gofundme.com/f/aid-for-tornadoaffected-dogs-in-sanger
