The truth is:

Not every horse will be a world champion.
Not every horse will be a 1D competitor.
Not every horse will be a stand out at the futurity.
Not every horse will be an outstanding kid’s horse.
Not every horse will excel at multiple disciplines.
Not every horse will have a big, flashy stop.
Not every horse will have record-breaking speed.
Not every horse will be a quick learner.
Not every horse will be easy to work with.

As trainers, our job is not to make every horse the best. Our job is to give every horse the opportunity to be the best it can be — to help each horse reach its own full potential.

If you never take the chance how will you ever know how great you could be?

No one is ever ready. Prepare the best you can and then go after it.

The only way to know if you can compete with the best is to enter. If you don’t succeed this time learn from it and try again.

If you are unsure if you can train your own horse. Ride with a trainer, watch the videos, and start working towards training your horse.

Everything is scalable, one day, one ride, one jackpot at a time. Take the lessons learned and apply them to the next day, ride, or jackpot.

You have to try if you want to know the sky is the limit.

You will never outperform your own self image.

If you talk poorly about yourself and your abilities, you are only making your starting point further away from where you want to be.

The most important thing you can have for your horse is to have confidence in yourself. Pure confidence means knowing that you are absolutely capable of doing what you need to do to create a desirable outcome.

This is the kind of unshakable confidence that can only come through experience. You have to do the things that are uncomfortable so that, one day, the uncomfortable things become part of your comfort zone.

-Facilities include a round pen, arena, access to the forest trails and live cattle available at an extra cost

-Bachelors degree in Animal Science from WTA&MU

-Experience starting c**ts under various disciplines cutting, reining, and cowhorse

-Over a year working in a large equine hospital

-Over a year on the 6666 ranch in Guthrie, TX
